hello.

my name is shaun and i book shows here in chicago as well as being a big fan 
of the independant media centers across the country.  i also try to actively 
participate in politics and spread my messages through use of music and 
literature.

the reason why i am contacting you is because i think we could quite 
possibly help eachother out.  i had no chicago even had an IMC until i 
stumbled across your website.  i was inquiring if you had the 
capability/interest to throw shows at your IMC (if you have the space to do 
so) which could provide bands from all over the opportunity to play the city 
without the politics of most chicago venues and help fund your cause all at 
the same time.  i realize you are a non profit organization, but throwing 
these shows could help cover costs of time you'd put into it as well as 
provide extra money for whatever you wish to better the IMC for us here in 
chicago.

i really hope to hear from you and hope even more that this is something we 
can further discuss.  thank you so much for your time.
