hey gang,  

the craziness of getting the hothouse show is done, apologies for not replying to any working list 
issues.  want to touch base on a couple er things.

1.  MLE's flyer is awesome and I propose we use it.  Can we give say $50 of our budget to getting as 
many as we can printed.  like a few thousand.  I also propose that we have a link on our front page so 
that we can download this flier anytime needed.  I would like to actively hand these out at actions and 
events.  If the event is really large, I would like to recruit volunteers to hand them out.

2.  The video fundraiser has fizzled.  I haven't heard back from Marie at WIDC who was looking into the 
video projector.  I would like to propose a different fundraiser instead:

3.  Buttons.  On the top will say: Become The Media!  wrapped around the bottom will say: 
Chicago.Indymedia.org and in the middle will be our ((i)) symbol.  and/or we could do something with 
our Haymarket motif.  We can sell them for 1-2 dollars each.  I am willing to do the physical labor of 
making them if A.) our wonderful graphic designer wants to make a design and B.) the collective 
wants to fund the button maker.  I will look into prices.

4.  Next meeting.  Miami and SOA is weekend after next, so I propose we have a meeting this next 
weekend so we can touch base and reconnect.  fyi, I'll be in Georgia and others will be in Miami.  I'll 
be with Chicago people, maybe we can get together a center panel.
