[CIMC-work] re: Events Calendar

It would seem that the Upcoming Events Panel killed the calsnet.com
star. I don't think we should spend energy to resurrect it. Let me
propose the following:
(1) In the immediate, have someone on the tech team (Ian or Don,
probably) disable the link on the public site to the calsnet.com calendar
so that no incoming entries are input (perhaps a small explanatory note
might be in order). If the events calendar jpeg can be removed, all the
better.
(2) Go with Emily's redesign of the CIMC website as soon as she and Ian
can implement it, which (I hope) can be modified to exclude a calendar,
and which goes with the Upcoming Events Panel.
Thoughts?
