[CIMC-work] Future center panels

Hello all, re: (2) Kathy Kelly is on the Nobel Peace Prize list along
with more than 150 others this year. (ex-Gov. Ryan is also on the
list--for his death sentence commutes).  I can't find a close to
complete list anywhere, but Voices in the Wilderness lists the 2003
nomination for Kathy under their info on speakers--I guess the Nobel
committee doesn't release a list of nominees, but nominee sponsors often
make their nominations public).

Chirac and a list as long as California's gov race are in the running.
Prez Carter won last year and two years in a row for the same country is
fairly unusual with the peace prize.  Members of the committee who were
supposedly the most anti-BushJr have supposedly been
replaced/resigned(?) this year.   

>From the news stories I've looked at it seems the 165 member list
includes over 20 organizations--I'm not sure if any other Chicago
Peace/Justice groups are included.  

Hachem Aghajari, currently in prison in Iran looks like the odds-makers
favorite although he hasn't been confirmed as on the list. Irish pop
star Bono, Pope John Paul II, Vaclav Havel, Chinese dissident Wei
Jingsheng as well as imprisoned Israeli nuclear technician Mordechai
Vanunu have all been rumoured to be on the list.

House's Marriage Protection Week and tying it in to the CABN rally this

(2) Does anyone know if Kathy Kelly is up for a Nobel Peace Prize 
again?  (I know that ISM, Rachel Corrie and Adam Shapiro are nominees,
but so are George W. Bush and Tony Blair.)  They're announcing the award
early Friday morning, and I'm wondering if we might want to have a
center panel ready, just in case...
