We don't have particular policy, but I would agree with the direction you are thinking in, Ian.  We focus 
more on general interest events coming up within a week or two.  the ongoing congress strike listed 
is a good idea because it's a hot topic.

I would also say that Rachel P should be networking directly with Chicago Organizers, who will either 
make it to the Consulta or not.  not to sound too critical.

Just to clarify with people, do we have any particular policy about upcoming events?  This event is 
October 11 & 12, which is a ways away.  It's also an organizers meeting, though presumably inclusive 
-- not exactly general interest.
