hey gang,

here's the update from ISM-Chicago, Kevin Clark.  Looks like more than just a vigil and sometime 
after Oct. 4th.

Fellow ISMers!

This is being sent to the local Chicago ISM list and the ISM contacts across the U.S. It is being sent 
out to the national contacts because several people at the ISM/North America ISM planning meeting 
requested information on the London call for action. The following is the e-mail that we received from 
ISM in London regarding the proposal for actions when Tom Hurndall passes away. As I understand 
it, his family is close to disconnecting him from life-support and when they do we will receive 
notification from ISM in London Here in Chicago, we have endorsements from other organizations 
that we work with to support the "green" (non-arrest) component of the proposed action. The Chicago 
chapter of ISM will organize the "red" (arrest likely) portion of the action. We will discuss plans for the 
action (and make signs/banners) at our monthly potluck dinner on Saturday, October 4. Local 
endorsers thus far include: Chicago Coalition Against War And Racism, Northwest Suburban 
SUSTAIN, Palestine Solidarity Group, and the International Action Center.
