[CIMC-work] Proposal for convergence with Version Fest on May Day

Hello, collective,

Ed from Version Fest / Lumpen has suggested that we converge with Version
Fest for May Day. They are having May Day events in Buddy / Heaven / 3
space. They will let us use Buddy for photoexhibit and we can screen
stuff there.

We do have the option of having Open End Gallery all to ourselves as well.

I told Ed that I liked the idea of converging for May Day and also told
him that I felt it was important that we have autonomy over the programme
if we were in Buddy.

Someone else needs to please provide input about the money side of it. I
have too many issues with money to be objective about it.

Hey thomas.
Thanks for the heads up. We would be delighted to take part.
I hope you guys are taking part in the NFO XPO of the convergence. Do you
know about that?

Well we are going to be out of open end on may day. But we do have plans
for 3 space (buddy / hgih school/ heaven ) super may day so why don't you
join us at buddy.

We can screen work and put up an exhibit if you like in one of the spaces.

There will be performances, workshops, and urban landscaping projects all
nite and day .. We also plan on having the fashion of christ fashion show,
bar- b qs going all nite, beer, a radio broadcast etc.. and we think we
will be up til the next morning,
Its code named 24 hour party people.

Let me know if you want to join us. It would be a shame to have two shin
digs for the same crowds.
Let me know soon. We can send screener copies of you vids to the media .
I plan on doing the homeland insecurity shorts program that nite as well
and we can prolly screen the corporation and the foruth world war as well
if we want..

Ok

Our contribution would be the "May Day Party - the people of the world
speak up". It will feature screenings of video from m20 2004 and have
an open submission policy; we will screen everything submitted within
reason. We will screen footage from Chicago and across the country.

policy as well. We will hang as many pictures as possible within
reason.

declared an end to the war and the war is still going on.

that Buddy is definitely participating in Version Fest and Open End
Gallery seems confused about whether May Day is open or not.
