Interesting observations.  ( FYI,  I was actually at the same meeting with 
Geo )  But then we come to the issue of C-Rock - our Hispanic friend with a 
penchant for guns ( not being a pacifist,  I don't have a problem with firearms, I 
grew up with them, have owned them in the past,  but believe if outlawed, 
such measures should first be applied to  the police ) C-Rock's shilling for NRA, 
a rightwing proto-fascist organization  whose reactionary politics extend far 
beyond just the issue of gun control  hardly constitutes a 'grey area'. But 
of course, that's my opinion. However,   I'd be a bit more open to C-Rock's 
view if he didn't have an extensive track record of posting racist, objectionable 
cant on the wire in the past ... along with Bobby Meade, Gideon, $$$, JD, and 
assorted other rightwing trolls...and of course, Pastor Mike, who religiously 
spams every IMC site on the planet. 

Still, I'm encouraged to know that other collective members will now take the 
time to actually read the comments posted, ( somewhere between 15-30 daily )  
and exercise critical judgement within the framework of existing IMC policy 
in moderating the wire. The suggestion of rotating news wire clerks was in part 
aimed at alleviating  this load. But maybe we don't need to do this if 
everybody is willing to pitch in.
