Hi Chris

I think it's best if we take this to the imc-photos list
and come back to new-project when we have some answers to
these questions:

 http://docs.indymedia.org/view/Global/NewProjectPhoto

The imc-photos list is here:

Yes, something could be done, most IMC sites do have a
RSS feeds for posts that have images, for example this is
the UK one:

  http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/images.rss

However this feed doesn't only contain photo posts,
grapics, images of posters and suchlike are included.

It would be good to get all the image rss feeds and
display them lik the global sites does, but I'm not sure
how we could save people from posting twice.

Personally what I was thinking I would do when this site
is up and running and for example I have taken a few
hundred image on a demo is post a dozen (or more) of the
best ones, without shrinking them first, to the photos
site. The photos site would then have the versions that
would be best for using in print etc. Then I would copy
the scaled versio of the images that the global site would
generate and post a selection of these on my local IMC and
also post a link to the page on the global site.

My only outreach thought so far has been to post to the
other photos lists:

And I agree with the concerns below.
