Join us on Monday Feb 9 at the Mexican consulate (300 N. Michigan) to protest the recent violence that the Mexican gov't
has inflicted on indigenous communities in the Chiapas region.
This article is a follow-up to the annoucement made in:
http://chicago.indymedia.org/newswire/display/35939/index.php

The demonstration against the recent violence directed at the indigenous peoples of Mexico will be held on Monday,
February 9 at the Mexican consulate (300 N. Michigan Ave.). There we will tell the Mexican government "NO MORE!"

In the past month, the Mexican army has burned down the village of the indigenous people of Chol, and the Mexican riot
police have invaded and massacred people in the autonomous town of Tlalnepantla (see link below). Yet the corporate
presses of the world have largely ignored these events. Join us in helping to show the world what is happening in
Chiapas!

The time of the demonstration will be announced on Thursday evening. If you have comments, questions, or whatever
contact Nomad at mmalek (at) hampshire.edu
