Garth,

I have to respectfully disagree with your contention that discussing our
hiding practices on the public listserve "can indirectly feed the trolls."

Since doing a scientific study -- attempting to find a correlation between
our openly discussing stuff and the amount of troll crap we get -- is beyond
our means, I'd like to fall back on a principled argument that we should be
discussing as many website-management issues as publicly as possible, since
this is all about an open-publishing site for the public.

In a more democratic society than the one we have now I think we'd see more
people using the Indymedia/Internet model for collective management issues
of all sorts....
