[CIMC-work] Today's meeting - Sunday, 2/08

Hi all

Sorry I couldn't make the meeting this Sunday, but my work schedule has 
shifted a bit,  which will make 4 PM meetings difficult for me for the next couple 
of weeks. H Still just some updated info for the agenda:   

M-20 Coverage: M-20 Permit Denied

Apparently the M-20 march and demo scheduled for Pearson and Chicago down 
Michigan Ave to Federal Plaza has been denied a street permit by the city. 
They're going to meet this Wednesday with city negotiators again, but if the city 
stonewalls, the M-20 Organizing Coalition will hold a press conference in front 
of the Mayor's office, probably the first of next week. Time to be announced. 
IMHO, we should try and cover this when it happens. 

Additional M-20 Events: 

In addition, CAWI and UFPJ will hold an interdenominational service at 10:30 
AM on March 20, at the Chicago Temple (across from Daley Plaza )
which will not conflict with the march. Plans are also being generated for an 
evening concert that night, but details remain unclear. Will post more info 
as I get it. 

Incidentally, for the designers-artists in the collective who haven't seen 
it,  I've just stumbled across the mother of all anti-war poster websites, at

Please keep me abreast of the latest discussions on local editorial policy, 
any proposed revisions ( ie: I support our current policy ) and hiding 
posts...looks like we're getting an increase in right wing trolls...again.
