[CIMC-work] Editorial Policy.

hey- this was on our 'info sheet', on the site:

"While offering an empowering capability to users
traditionally ignored by the mainstream media, the
newswire also provides a completely open forum for
viewpoints that may be in direct conflict with the focus of
the editorial collective -- anything from racist propaganda
to opinions that merely reinforce the views propagated by
the mainstream media."

We don't do this- we are not a forum for Freepers, Criolle,
and the like. It is not in any editorial policy ever discussed
to provide a space for all of that. Is this just a few typos?
Something misworded?

While I'm on the subject, I would like to bring up
something related to our stunted editorial discussion.
While we do work very much to promote the social justice
groups in Chicago, we are not their simply their "lackeys".
We are also our own people, and weighing out how we can
be most effective, we also have a responsibility to
maintain our own integrity of convictions.

In regard to Rita's film, I would like to see some very solid
reasons it shouldn't be shown, before we aqueisce. Of
course we are still waiting to hear back from Andy.
anyway, it was on my mind.
