Dear Indymedia,

I'm Laila Ruangpan, the promotion/publicity staff of AEMMP Records of 
Columbia College Chicago.  AEMMP Records is hosting a benefit concert for 
War Child US on May 2nd, 2004 at Metro Chicago and would like to offer you 
an opportunity to help this worthy event.  .

AEMMP is working in collaboration with War Child US, the North American 
affiliate of War Child UK, to produce the organization's first state-side 
benefit concert.  The concert will consist of seven prominent unsigned acts, 
in addition to a celebrity headliner (TBD).  Moreover, we are making a 
compilation CD from those seven artists, 14 songs.  All proceeds will be 
donated to War Child US.

At this point, we would like you to support the project by helping us 
promote the event.  We would like you to write article(s) or put free ads, 
or both on your magazine.  We also would like to have your contact info in 
order to sending you a press kit in the near future.

Further, AEMMP Records would like to invite you to the release party which 
is hosted on March 17th, 2004 at the Hot House (Balbo & Michigan Ave.) at 
8-11pm.  There will be one of our seven artists (Jason Bayle) perform at 
that night.
