Happy new year to all!
Everyone who will be doing a workshop at the Chicago Social Forum 
should be receiving this message.  Hopefully this will bring everyone 
up to speed...

Date:
The forum will take place only on one day -- January 31, Saturday from 
9 a.m - 6 p.m.

Schedule:
I am attaching the tentative schedule.  It will go to the printer next 
week.  As the date of the forum gets closer I will be in touch with 
your specific room assignment for that day.  Due to the number of media 
workshop proposals that we received, we are in the process of combining 
some of them, so that they don't have to compete for audience.

Outreach:
We will be relying upon all of you to help us spread the word about the 
forum -- will be sending you separate messages with a flyer and email 
blurb so you can help with outreach.  As you can see from the schedule, 
there will be 13-15 workshops going on at one time, so we want to get 
as many people to attend as possible, so that each workshop gets a good 
audience.

Workshop Fees:
Please understand that we have NO budget for this event -- we are 
relying completely upon registration and workshop fees and we have a 
large space rental fee for the event.  Some of you have paid and some 
haven't -- if not, please send a check made out to AFSC Chicago to 637 
S. Dearborn, 3rd floor, Chicago 60605.  $10 per individual/$25 per 
organization -- for individuals this registers you for the day, for 
organizations this lists you as an endorser and allows you two people 
to attend the event (others from your org. should pay registration)
