[CIMC-work] RE: Letter draft for Proposal to CABN for film screening...

Dear Don, et al., 

I hope I can make the meeting on Sunday, but this is production weekend
for FTT and you never know--anyway, the letter to CABN now merely
implies that we intend to show the film whether or not they agree to
cosponsor the event.  We are not trying to pick a fight and we are not
asking permission to show the film  The film passes the editorial
barriers set up by the CIMC, therefore there is no need of permission. 
However, we would like their cooperation since information in the film
affects the lives of gays as well as straight folks.  We are simply
asking if they would allow us to screen the film for them so that they
can make their own decision whether or not to cosponsor a wider
screening.  How is that offensive?
