hey all,
The S.F. conflict came up for discussion at our collective's meeting yesterday. We wish to express our desire that the two
groups will find a way to resolve their differences for their own benevolence, as well as for the importance of the IMC
project to the activist community in San Francisco.
While it is difficult for members of the Chicago collective to give direct support to a mediation process, we still voice our
support to any hopeful attempts at mediation. Hopefully we will not have to resort to an arbitration process.
On that note, we acknowledge the two groups seem to have inseperable differences. Nonetheless, the present situation of
two duplicate collectives, within such confines, would seem to give the Indymedia project in San Francisco a difficult
burden in functioning. We ask that individuals consider the needs of the larger San Francisco community in mind as a
resolution process takes place.
yours in solidarity,
Chicago Indymedia
