[CIMC-work] video's next meeting

Hello, collective,

I've got wind that there's some sort of delegation from general to video.
I'm glad this is happening.

My request to the envoys is to help keep us on task, which I personally
think is much more important than trying to sort out the minutiae of the
mess of grievances that have accumulated over the past few months.

As an example, our last meeting included some good discussion, some bad
discussion, and some out and out arguing, but, most importantly, we were
unable to complete our simplest task, which is simply to put videos we
already have on hand together into a show.

Instead we spent two hours running around an issue that had already been
definitively blocked (no matter how you define block).

I am hoping that we have reached a turning point, which is the realization
that we cannot work together if we don't trust one another. And that the
actualization of that trust is relying on the collective decision-making
process.

Probably the least useful thing to happen would be if the video collective
saw this as an opportunity air out grievances.

regards,
