Dear all,

We, the existing belgium.indymedia.org collectives received a request
for a syndication project in the end of july 2003:

We, the existing belgium.indymedia.org collectives decided at our
general assembly that we would take one year towards working more
locally (with local we do not exclusively mean provinces, city's,..)

So we scheduled our next general assembly in September with this point
as a major issue on the agenda.

The belgium.indymedia.org collectives can for this reason not answer to
the request send by turlututu to this list before that meeting.

Notes:
The belgium.indymedia.org collectives did not stand still the last
couple of months, time was taken to make a critical evaluation of our
work and to broaden the collective and the issues covered on the
website.
We have now more people posting and more issues covered than ever before
on the belgium.indymedia.org website. (34 features in may)

I write collectives as we speak do not speak of one collective but a
number of operational collectives.
- The editorial collective consists of 15 people and meet on weekly base
(with in between 5 ton 9 people participating to that meeting)
- The video collective
- the circus collective
- the Molenbeek collective
- l'Arbre à Palabre (a collective that produces a weekly radio program
on radio campus)
