hey,

yes i am on this list and i think there are more nyc imcistas here too. i
saw sascha's proposal for funding and i think it is great. we are working
realy hard on the ground here to build an IMC capable of a convergence the
scale of which i dont think we have ever seen before. rent in nyc is
*extremely* expensive, even though we are working with allies who support
our mission, their rates are still beyond our current ability. so that is
one huge issue we are contending with. even though we are in nyc, we dont
have nearly enough resources to accomodate the level of production that will
go on here. we certainly could use all the help from the network we can get,
and that includes financial support. but we would also love to know what
kind of other resources the network can help us with. ie, computers, video
servers, tech support, web support ahead of time ( we dont know how to
modify our website the way we would like to) etc etc etc. 

i realize sending financial support to an imc in the global north is not
this list's priority, but considering bush is despised by the whole world
and nyc is responsible for ruining his another-four-years pep rally, maybe
an exception can be made.
