A legal skillshare and training for those who are considering attending this 
summer’s national mobilizations and local actions. 

When: Saturday, June 26 - 2:00 PM

Workshops include: 

- Know Your Rights! and Legal Observer workshop - A training by the National 
Lawyer’s Guild. Legal Observers (LOs) are volunteers who are deployed 
throughout the demonstration zones to monitor contacts between demonstrators and 
police. LOs act as witnesses and record information to be used later in the defense 
of any demonstrators who are arrested. LOs can be a vital part of protecting 
demonstrators’ rights to free speech and peaceful protest. 

- Going through the System. (DNC & RNC) Organizing jail solidarity - inside 
and out. 

- How to do legal support and coordinate bail - Organizing a legal defense 
fund. 

PLUS: Latest updates on the RNC and DNC, and info on local actions and events 
during Chicago’s Summer of Resistance.
