[CIMC-work] Some things (June 21)

Yes, good work on the Congress Hotel, all.  

as for next features, will depend on what folks are able to 
do.  I'd say go ahead with the CAN TV victory, Mitchell.  
We should also do J30, seems to be a basic requirement of 
what we do.  Counter recruitment I plan to photograph, so 
we would have images.  Dorina's already got a lot of 
background info on Counter Recruitment, conscientous 
objection, etc., so I hope we can pull that one off too.

                        (1) Excellent work on the Congress Hotel 
coverage.  I especially like the
 new photo (better than the one I put up).  I'm thinking we 
should have
 another center panel this week.  Possibilities include the 
CAN TV victory 
 on Friday (maybe I should post this today or tomorrow; 
objections?), the
 Counter-Retruitment efforts (Dorina's suggestion), or 
preparatory coverage
 of the J30 actions downtown (see also below).
 
 (2) I'm also thinking that we (meaning, I) should resurrect 
the live
 radio webstream to cover the J30 protests downtown, 
especially since
 this protest could face a serious arrest situation.  It 
probably won't be
 as long of coverage (say, 3pm-7pm, barring arrests).  We 
mentioned it
 briefly at the last CIMC general collective meeting.  With 
luck, it'd be a
 lot easier to set up than last time (famous last words), but 
what do
 people think?  Should I do this?
