[CIMC-work] garth Iraq update

hey gang,

I'm rebounding from my burnout with this update.  CPT is 
back in Iraq, and I'm planning to go at end of november.  
this will be much easier on my school schedule and i'll 
have a chunk of time off on my return.  this way i can do a 
more effective job getting my stuff out.

i need to check on some things, but i'm at around $1300 
for funds raised.  need a total of $2500.  thinking that if i 
do more fundraising to do simpler parties.  people 
seemed to enjoy the chili dinners well enough, but the 
work was very hard,,.  i also figured if i worked one extra 
day a week subtitute teaching, that i will get the 
remainder of the funds.

i also have talked/met people who have pointed me in 
good directions to get a website set up.  i have some time 
here in the summer to do so.  it is exciting because i will 
better be able to show/organize my work, particularly 
around the peace movement.

so i'll continue covering iraq war stuff, the counter 
recruitment, june 30th, as well as some local weekly 
pickets..

again, i want to say that organizing to go to iraq has been 
a 'good' experience, and that people have been amazing 
in their support, and i am grateful.
