Dick, Garth, thanks for the quick and positive responses to this
proposal. 

I agree our motivations must be based on facts, and against policies of
nation-based racism and killing. 

On a related point, I don't think that the JNF is in any way naïve --
it's very good practice to hold people and organizations
responsible for the positions they take, and for the
implications/results of such positions. Even "standing still" or
"staying neutral" translates into tacit support for the way things
currently are -- the status quo.

And thanks, Dick, for the stamp of approval on my "political resume" --
really -- and thanks, Garth, for the can-do attitude. I'll aim for next
Thursday to pack this thing off if it's good to go by then....
