[CIMC-work] Center-column panel proposal: "Police Department Faces Harsh Scrutiny Following Weekend of Shootings and Arrests by Officers"

Chris,

Great topic. And definitely timely. But I have two questions:

(1) There should be a center panel a-brewin' (and I'll write a proposal
to this list) on the Taste of Democracy actions tonight. It's probably
too late to get peer review on this so late. I'll write a proposal, send
it to this list, and get it seconded or thirded. How should we
coordinate? Should I post my center panel first, then yours?

(2) It seems that the center panel might be a little bit long as
center panels go. But maybe I'm misunderstanding it. Am I reading your
proposal right?

Keep up the good work.
