Unfortunate Circumstances
Today, it was unfortunate that I had to deal with half a dozen complaints
regarding my carrying certain newsletters in LaborGroups News.
Some of the complaints were by telephone, and several by e-mail.
The issue at hand are some activist news publications which feature
articles authored by others, official news agencies, etc., in which there
has been some form of copyright infringement, specifically by the
the activist group, republisher, etc., by not securing reprint permission
or honoring royalty consignment per the terms and conditions as listed
with the public posting of an original article.
I am unhappy to state at this time, that I will be discontinuing inclusion
of the following activist reports in upcoming LaborGroups News Reports:
* CLG Citizens for a Legitimate Government
* TruthOut
* Rob Sanchez's JOB DESTRUCTION NEWSLETTER
* Carolyn Kay's "Make Them Accountable"
At this time, I am very personally embarrassed that these folks really
had the nerve
to post the articles authored by others, seeking a donation in return.
I, at this time, would like to formally apologize for any mis-conceived
intent.
I offer a variety of news sources in a non-discriminatory manner.
Apparently I have been wrong and need to screen and eliminate criminals
who profit on the theft of others.
Thanks in advance for your understanding.
In Solidarity,
Bob :-)
