OK, i have a proposal to deal w/this situation. it also allows me to practice
delagating, which of course the target(s) are completely free to slap right
back at me. i propose that IAN find/crib/draft a little bit of language that
does a few things: 1) describes difference between 'hide' and 'delete'; 2)
outlines circumstances under which 'delete' can be used; 3) mebbe lays out language
that fits 'technical capacities' w/editorial functions (ie, "Use 'hide' to
hide duplicate posts; posts that abuse our editorial policy; posts that the
senders have requested be hidden; etc [IAN fill in here])
ok? no ok? IAN? others?
