[CIMC-work] Deleting posts from the newswire

Hey, ok, this is good policy too. So: people get to delete their own stuff to 
save on bandwidth, and other people's stuff at the other person's request. 
BUT, Ian and other techs: are deletes really deleted, or are they sucking up 
harddrive space somewhere regardless? In which case, delete appears to have 
ulility only in forever making it impossible to query our search engine after a 
particular post that ... has been deleted, ie, 'super hidden' rather than just 
plain old 'hidden'! What's up with that?
