[CIMC-work] URGENT: site is down

drat. site is so down. really down. however, larger network seems to be up. 
also, when we ARE up, the front page loads with glacial slowness, which has 
been a problem for a while. would be good if that could be fixed at some point. 
but. site is down. now. really really really terminally down. help.
