There actually is a voting process built into dada, which is largely
disabled. It allows for public (with user account) as well as
editorial voting, with various levels of granularity.
It's something that can be investigated, but I'm not sure that's really
where we're at. Kuro5hin.org worked this way, and while it seemed cool
at first, I think it ultimately lost momentum -- CIMC's momentum isn't
built on these kind of voting processes, so I doubt we could keep it up
as a viable mechanism for very long at all. We need to be able to move
forward even when there's only a handful of active people.
