I suggest striking "but they come soon after a recent Code Pink action in DC 
and a massive convergence a month ago in New York City." Mea culpas for poor 
turnouts aren't necessary. If you want to add analysis like this, I would of 
course suggest something stronger criticizing ANSWER for organizing alone.

If I were to add anything, I'd suggest mentioning the big turnout at protests 
on the West Coast, including militant confrontations in San Francisco and 
Portland. On a local angle, something really short could be added about the 
World Bank arrests.

FYI, the ANSWER protest in January drew 75,000-100,000 and the one last 
October drew around 50,000. Manny Fernandez is reporting that the police are 
estimating a turnout today of around 45,000.
