thanks. i agree with your striking, personally. i'll try to work in 
your suggestions, as well as a sentence about the protests in spain and 
england. i'm also going to add something about local contingents. i'll 
put it up, and we can all spit-out new modifications.

we should keep it to a paragraph or two, if it gets longer, the 
collective article can become a newswire piece w/the first paragraph in 
the feature.
