Cool; I'm just now starting to edit the video.
Am I to understand that it turned out to _not_ be a police trap, and that folks were finally let go, and only a few arrested? I shot two or three arrests at the Rosslyn end, maybe 50 yards before we hit the bridge.
Anyway, it sure smelled like a trap to me, as I saw the motorcycles congregating at the Georgetown end. And, like last Sept.27, I had to gather up my nerve and bolt through a gap in the line, waiting the whole time to feel the hand snatching my coat at any moment. I'd hope to stick around and shoot some of the arrests, but the crowd of cops was so thick looking back across that I didn't dare get close enough to try and shoot for fear I'd get snatched up again. As it was, got some great stuff, and it's on the way.
Oh, say can you see
on the bridge named for Key,
how the Aqua Group marched,
and a few got arrested!
"All over, people changing their roles,
along with their overcoats;
if Adolf Hitler flew in today,
they'd send a limousine anyway!" --the clash.
