Dear media-maker!


I would like to remind you of my online-survey regarding alternative media that I am conducting for my master?s thesis at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, Germany. This survey is carried out anonymously and the responses are not monitored, as a result, those of you that have already filled out the survey also received this e-mail. I would like to thank you for your commitment and the numerous suggestions and annotations. They are very helpful for me.

The meaningfulness of the study increases with every individual survey that is filled out. Therefore I would ask all of you that have not yet participated in the survey, to please take some time in the next weeks to fill in the survey linked to this e-mail and send it back no later than 31/12/2002. As I have mentioned before I am not looking for a single answer for your publication. Rather, I am interested in your personal opinions and experiences. Why have you turned to alternative media on the internet? What role does the internet play in networking people of the same interests? What is your opinion of conventional media?. The processing of the survey will take about 20 minutes. Your anonymity will be protected unless you agree to have further contact.

Should you not be the right person of your publication to talk to, please forward this e-mail to other members of your publication. The same is true, should you know other media-makers that can support this study.
