[IMC-Editorial] DC Sniper and the Israeli Mossad

To the Editor:
    Why, in a recent article, would you claim something so preposterous, such as the Israeli Mossad is behind the sniper shootings in the DC/VA area? People around here are scared enough as it is without you printed such absurd claims without any evidence what-so-ever. Such statements only make things worse. This has been the work of one man, not an organization (which, by the way, is not a terrorist organization) and certainly not a Jewish group. No Jewish person or organization would be so blasphemous as to leave a Tarot card (Jews don't use Tarot cards and don't seek out fortune tellers) that says "Dear Policeman, I am God." Nothing in the pattern of this killer suggests anything having to do with Israel or Judaism. Same goes for the Bali bomb blast. This has been linked to Al-Qaeda, not any Israeli group. You claim to be "a network of collectively run media outlets for the creation of radical, objective, and passionate tellings of the truth," yet your statements about the Israeli Mossad are about as far from the truth as you can get, and such statements only hurt efforts both in the DC-area and in Bali to catch the real perpetrators. I suggest that you print the truth, as well as a retraction of your original story and an apology to the Israeli Mossad.
