Press Release

PSP Introduces PS. MegaMail for its Web/Email Hosting Service

BELLEVUE, WA - July 18, 2003 - Pacific Software Publishing, Inc.
(PSP), Bellevue-based computer / Internet-related firm, has added
a new option, “PS.MegaMail,” to their “Dreamersi.net,” an
Email & Web Application Service (ASP), which PSP has been
servicing since 2001. PS.MegaMail enables users to transfer
files, not ordinarily transferable with Email, in a safe and easy
way. This is a part of PSP’s continuing effort to improve and
expand its Email and Web solutions for customers.

Many ISPs (Internet Service Providers) and corporations limit the
size of the Email attachments that can be sent. Users have to
find other ways such as FTP (File Transfer Protocol) in order to
exchange files with others. FTP can be cumbersome to many Server
managers since it requires them to manage users and passwords as
well as disk space.

PS.MegaMail is an easy and cost effective solution, allowing
users to overcome these challenges. Once the sender installs the
PS.MegaMail client software on his/her computer, PS.MegaMail
works like a typical email software. When a sender sends files
using PS.Megamail, the information is uploaded to the PS.MegaMail
secure server. The receiver will receive the email and be
prompted to download the attached files. It does not require any
server administrator to manage users because PS.MegaMail will
manage the uploaded files automatically as each sender
specifies.

Ken Uchikura, founder and CEO of PSP, says “PS. MegaMail is
convenient because we can send large files the same way as we use
Email, and overcomes the frustration caused by FTP.”

PS. MegaMail service starts at $20/month for 1GB-transfer, and
features include:

Senders: Send any big files from their home or business
computers unrestrictedly.
Recipients: Receive the file with just an Email account and a
browser.
Security: File transfer is performed with an encryption
functionality.
Automatic response: Senders receive “Download Start Notice”
automatically, once recipients download the file.
Save time: PS. MegaMail remembers the file transfer record, so
it automatically commands to transfer the rest of the file for
the second trial after having cancelled the file transfer in the
middle of the download.

PSP is expecting to provide PS. MegaMail to 1,000 companies in
the first year. The target users are construction,
engineering-related firms with CAD files, and design firms with
graphic files. They will also prepare a packaged software version
of PS.MegaMail for those who wish to install the software on
their servers instead of using PS.MegaMail as a service,
forecasting an estimated 2000 package sales in the first year.
