The mainstream news media knew about 3 important lies before the war started and the mainstream news media refused to cover them. The first was Bushs claim last year that Iraq was only months away from buying a bomb. The second was a dossier from England that was plagiarized from a 12 year old students thesis. The third was a false document that Iraq was buying materials from Africa to build a bomb. All of these were lies. All of these were proven to be lies in foreign press and independent news media in America. These 3 lies and their refutation lead to the worldwide protests of millions against the way. The mainstream news media in America absolutely, stoutly, stubbornly, refused to cover these stories. There were protests outside of the mainstream news networks in New York. There were protests outside of CNN and FOX News by thousands of people demanding that the news media start telling the truth. There were millions of people writing and calling the news media demanding that the news media start telling the truth. Actors and celebrities who spoke the truth were blackballed in the news media. Musicians were banned from radio. Actors were fired from movies and TV shows. Journalists who did tell the truth were fired. Anyone who spoke out the truth was shouted down by brownshirts as being unpatriotic anti-American traitors who hated America and sided with the enemies.

In Los Angeles, local TV anchorman Hal Fishman looked into the camera and said that it did not matter if there was any proof of WMDs, it did not matter if Bush lied or not, that what Bush did was good because Saddam was bad and Saddam was responsible for 9-11. This is just one local news station in one city. There are thousands of such local news stations in thousands of US cities where their anchormen say the same thing. You wont find a major network anchor shilling this, but there are thousands of local news anchormen shilling this. That is how the majority of American believe that Iraq was responsible for 9-11.
