CATALOG OF
FEDERAL DOMESTIC ASSISTANCE (http://aspe.os.dhhs.gov/cfda/)
The Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance Programs (CFDA) is a government-wide compendium of all 1,499 Federal programs, projects, services, and activities that provide assistance or benefits to the American public. These programs provide grants, loans, loan guarantees, services, information, scholarships, training, insurance, etc., to millions of Americans every day.
TONY PODERIS WEBSITE (http://www.raise-funds.com/)
Hundreds of online documents and handouts for board of directors, volunteers, etc. A wealth of fundraising information and expertise. A MUST HAVE reference for any serious fundraiser.
CENTER FOR FAITH BASED AND COMMUNITY INITIATES (http://www.dol.gov/cfbci/funding.htm)
The President's faith-based and community initiative is about leveling the playing field so all grassroots organizations have equal opportunity to participate in existing federally funded programs as they serve their communities. Below are the current grants available through the Department of Labor.
INFONOW GRANTS-ON-DISK (http://www.donordata.com/)
A free listing and database of over 5,000 available foundation grants from private, public, community and corporate foundations. An upgrade is available, but this free version is pretty good on its own. You can download the program right off the site, or order a retail boxed version for just the cost of shipping and handling.
COMBINED FEDERAL CAMPAIGN (CFC) (http://www-source.opm.gov/cfc/html/2001appl.htm)
The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is open to all charitable organizations recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as tax-exempt under Title 26, United States Code, Section 501(c)(3). Applicant organizations must meet the eligibility and public accountability standards detailed in the United States Code of Federal Regulations, Title 5, Chapter 950. Local organizations must demonstrate that they have a substantial local presence in the geographic area covered by the CFC campaign, a substantial local presence in the geographic area covered by an adjacent CFC campaign, or a substantial statewide presence.
DONORDATA ON-LINE GRANTS (http://www.donordata.com/)
A complete on-line service. Many of the areas are free, such as fundraising news wires, free databases of grants available and a free grant submission service which includes a comprehensive funding search and grant application preparation. The "information" is not as in-depth as Tony Poderis, but still worth a look.
FUNDRAISING YELLOW PAGES (http://www.fundraising-yellow-pages.com/)
Free information request form is a great way for you to get information on a variety of fundraising ideas. If you're new to fundraising or don't know exactly what kind of fundraiser you want to have for your group, this is the ideal way to solve your problem. Also, try it when you want the latest ideas in fundraising to incorporate into your next fundraiser.
FREE FUNDRAISING SOFTWARE (http://www.schoolbench.com/)
The Complete Angler - Free Fundraising Software for the serious developer. Donations, Pledges, Memberships, Sales, Grants, (Theater) Events, Queries, Instant (E)Mail Merge, Reports, Imports, Exports, Duplicate Resolution, Document Management, much more.
