I am a local father who built a website to honor my son in Iraq. Wow, how it
grew! Our recent banquet drew U.S. Congressman Sweeney, U.S. Congressman
McNulty, NYS Assemblyman Canestrari and Cohoes Mayor McDonald. We've been on
Channel 6 News, Channel 13 News, Channel News 9, The Record newspaper, Times
Union and WPYX Radio Station. The website has gotten the attention of
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton!

We are asking for your organization's support for a noble cause: Albany
River Rats Armed Services Day game at Pepsi Area, 11/22/03. Thousands of
River Rats fans asked to bring an item to the game to donate to the troops,
and to partake in festivities saluting our troops.

Should the game not be an option, maybe your organization would like to
sponsor a goods-donation-drive. Great citizens have made a difference to
over 80+ soldiers overseas.

http://www.supportourtroopsiniraq.com has teamed up with the Albany River
Rats (packages below).

Including more communities in our efforts allows us to reach out to more
area families. Support gets our message out to more people, resulting in a
direct impact on 80+ soldiers lives in Iraq! Support allows us to assist
more soldiers, meet more families, and obtain more soldiers’ names, and ship
more care packages to overburdened soldiers.

Could you please help us with the Pepsi event, or in any other capacity, for
our brave men and women fighting abroad?

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Daniel Forant
