Hey IMC -
I'm Stacey Singer, the publicist at Daemon Records in Atlanta. Daemon is
the not-for-profit grassroots indie label founded and operated by Amy Ray
of Indigo Girls. We've done a few projects with IMC including a John
Trudell interview recorded in our office and an Indigo Girls interview live
from the SOA protests. We're about to release two very politically charged
folk recordings, one by Utah Phillips, the other by David Rovics.
I'm wondering if you my have some information you may be able and willing
to share, specifically, contact information for public/non-commercial radio
programmers who may be likely to put political folk music into the rotation
or at least, spin it on some political/folk specialty shows.
As well, please be in touch with the IMC radio contact info so we can send
you copies for IMC radio. David Rovics will be at SOA this year, I'm
always happy to set up interviews, etc.
Thanks very much and I look forward to hearing from you,
Stacey Singer
