Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. Upgrades Spam Filter Option for Its
Web/Email Hosting Service, DreamersI.net.

Press Release

BELLEVUE, WA - Sep. 10, 2003 - Pacific Software Publishing (PSP)
introduced the upgraded SPAM filter option for their Web & Email hosting
service called "DreamersI.net." DreamersI.net is currently home for over
12,000 domains with over 250,000 email accounts. The original SPAM
filter was introduced in late 2002 as a way to block unwanted emails
from reaching the users mailbox. It became one of the most subscribed
features of DreamersI.net services.

>From just before this summer, the number of SPAM and Virus driven emails
has increased dramatically. In some cases, we have seen average number
of unwanted email jump 400% in last three months alone. As we receive
more SPAM and other unwanted emails, we set more words in the SPAM
filter to catch those emails. By adding more words in the filter, we
increase the chance of filtering out the email that we need.

The first upgrade PSP introduced enables SPAM filter users to set the
email addresses, which are exception to other filters. For instance, by
setting "@pspinc.com", any email with "From Address" with "@pspinc.com"
will not be filtered out by a SPAM filter. Users can set the full email
address like "info at pspinc.com" as an exception. This feature enables
them to set filter more aggressively to eliminate more unwanted emails.

The second feature is the introduction of a web based email retrieval
system. Once a day, users receive the list of filtered out emails from
the SPAM filter program. If they find an email they need being filtered
out, they can go to the web based email retrieval system to set the
check mark to the email they need and press "Recover". The emails that
they select will be forwarded to their mailbox.

When other internet service companies talk about SPAM filter, they only
talk about ways to eliminate the SPAM. But for business, it is important
to know what users have filtered out and provide a way to recover what
they need. The SPAM filter PSP introduced resulted from listening to
hundreds of SPAM filter users. The SPAM filter option is available to "
DreamersI.net" users for $15.00 per month (up to 20 accounts), $30.00
per month (21 to 50 accounts) or more.
