Fanueil says she knew. Her former corporate attorney said she knew. Her close friend said
she knew. As the drama mounts in Martha Stewart's trial would you like to know what it's
like to face a jury knowing they can put you in prison? As the prosecution rests its
case, the question now is will Martha take the stand. If I were Martha, I'd start wearing
K-Mart brand clothes and take freshly baked cookies into the courtroom everyday! It is
not looking good for Martha and while I'd be the first to say if you commit a crime you
should pay for it, I have to question whether putting first time, nonviolent offenders in
prison shows America is Tough on Crime or just Stupid on Crime. It makes for an
interesting debate!

If you are interested in hearing about it from a woman who has been a federal defendant
and federal prisoner, let's talk. The judge may have ordered the jury to avoid talking
about it, but I'm betting your listeners have plenty to say on the topic and would never
have heard it from a former attorney who was a federal prisoner!

I have been where Martha Stewart now finds herself and survived the brutal unreality of
America's alleged ClubFed prisons. Currently, I am Director of Governmental Affairs and
Public Policy for the nonprofit Federal Prison Policy Project. I'm available to discuss
with you what a federal trial and federal prison is like for a woman. Let's just say
culture shock is a severe understatement!

Would you be interested in me being a guest on your show or providing quotes for your
coverage? I have been a frequent guest on Fox, MSNBC and CNBC news shows. I've done many
radio shows from Canada to Guam and from LA to Boston including Bloomberg Radio, WBIX,
Newsweek on Air, and numerous others. If you would like, I will provide a copy of my
credentials and a graphic photograph from where I was beaten while in federal prison. I
look forward to speaking with you soon.

Regards,

Karen
