Carelloweb.com, an Online Shopping Cart Service, Upgraded to Support an
Online Credit Card Processing Service, Authorize.net.
Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. (PSP) has announced that they have
upgraded its shopping cart service, “CarelloWeb”. CarelloWeb is a
browser-based e-commerce management and hosting service that provides
subscribers with the ability to build, manage, and maintain an
e-commerce site easily and inexpensively with no knowledge of HTML.
Offered in English and Japanese with SSL security for order handling,
CarelloWeb allows subscribers to sell products online for as little as
$25.00 per month.
CarelloWeb has integrated the Authorize.net online credit card service
that verifies and/or charges customers credit cards at the point of
sale. With Authorize.net you can filter out the fraudulent transactions
that occur online. This service automatically processes the payment and
deposits it into your merchant account. The complete process takes
place in a secure setting making it impossible for hackers to gain
access to confidential information.
It is projected that in the year 2004, $88.2 billion in sales will go
through the internet. Of the $88.2 billion, an estimated 83% will be
paid for with a credit card. It is also projected that in 2005, internet
sales will be $109.4 billion. With the integration of Authorize.net’s
service and CarelloWeb, the ability to operate an online store has
become easier. Instead of processing credit card purchases manually,
the credit card will be processed and verified at the point of sale. In
return there will additional time available for shop owners to update
their shop and increase the number of products available.
