Erinne Kovi Dyer was raised from the age of 10 by her
biological mother and her lesbian partner. She thinks
it’s time for her to speak out in favor of gay and
lesbian marriage and against a constitutional
amendment banning them.

Ms. Kovi Dyer is a 28-yr. old pharmaceutical sales
representative who lives with her husband in Kent,
OH., where she grew up with her two brothers and
sister. She is a media spokeswoman for a national
organization called Children of Lesbians and Gays
Everywhere (COLAGE).

	She has a graduate degree from Vanderbilt University
and a B.A. with honors, from Case Western Reserve
University, where she was captain of her college
cheerleading squad and softball team. 

	She is like most young professional women in America.
It’s just that the love and values that shaped her
life were imparted by partners of the same sex. “I
would match the nurturing and support in my childhood
home with any in America, and my siblings and I would
likely be indistinguishable today from most Midwest
kids raised in heterosexual homes,” said Ms. Kovi
Dyer.

With the backdrop of Gov. Bob Taft signing of Ohio’s
Defense of Marriage Act and President George Bush
announcing support of a constitutional amendment
banning same-sex marriage, Erinne decided she must
take to the airwaves on behalf of thousands of Ohio
children of gay and lesbian parents who function
normally and often anonymously in American society.

Erinne Kovi Dyer offers to be a guest on your show to
make the case for gay marriage and against President
George Bush’s constitutional amendment. She’ll use her
own life experiences to belay the fear of many that
gay and lesbian households produce dysfunction and
immorality.

	She is currently mixing her roles of wife and
professional with appearances on radio talk shows and
publishing guest editorials supporting gay marriages.
