kool! thanks for your email. i really liked the way you formatted it:
emphasised the message.

anyway, this is definitely something that is being considered.

over the past 6 months or so, the global indymedia site has changed
enormously. work has, in particular, focussed on implementing the
multilingual features and also on updating and translating many of the
texts.

the next stage, which includes the presentation of the site, is being
discussed, although we are trying first to finish off much of the work
that has already been started before commencing new projects. some of the
beginning thoughts can be found on the wiki:

there are several mailing lists involved - which you can find out about on
the wiki page. probably the best one for these comments is the
imc-presentation list(imc-presentation at lists.indymedia.org) but at the
moment i think it is pretty quiet whilst people work on other stuff.

also, should be remembered that people are also often involved in other
parts of imc - e.g. actions, local groups, conferences, etc.
