Smart, Beautiful and a Dedicated Nazi

In this historical thriller, author Mike Whicker embarks upon the story of a
legendary female German spy and an American Jewish family.

Invitation to Valhalla begins in Europe with the introduction of the German
characters, including:

· Erika Lehmann. Code-named Lorelei, after the siren of Germanic
lore, she is the English-speaking daughter of Hitler's old comrade and a
member of the Führer's inner circle. She is beautiful, athletic, and
clever-the epitome of Aryan womanhood-and the Nazis' top spy. Sent to
America, she'll stop at nothing to accomplish her mission, including
masquerading as a Jew.

· Axel Ryker. The Gestapo's top henchman. Ryker is Heinrich Himmler's
top problem solver, i.e. murderer. As ruthless as he is cunning, Ryker is
sent to America with a startling mission-find and kill their own spy, Erika
Lehmann.

Invitation to Valhalla expands with the help of flashbacks. Eventually SS
chieftain Heinrich Himmler decides Erika Lehmann must die for several past
slights to the Gestapo and sends his top henchman (Axel Ryker) to America
with the mission to kill her.

Now in America, Erika is posing as a Jew and dating a Jewish scientist
working on the top secret project at a Naval shipyard. As Erika goes about
her mission, Ryker is in the same city looking for her, a fact she knows
nothing about. The American players are comprised of:

· Joe Mayer. A prominent American metallurgist working on a
top-secret project for the U.S. Navy. Mayer holds the secret Erika Lehmann
is sent to the United States to steal-a secret that could alter the course
of the war. In 1942, Joe Mayer feels his life could not be better. He is in
charge of important work on a top secret project, and dating a beautiful
young Jewish woman . . . (who in reality is the Nazi spy Erika Lehmann).

*	Charlie Pulaski. A troubled FBI investigator on his last legs,
Pulaski is sent to Evansville to investigate a series of mysterious short
wave radio transmissions.

Invitation to Valhalla ends in America with a climatic battle between the
German spy Erika Lehmann and Gestapo hitman Axel Ryker high up on the iron
work of a bridge over the Ohio River.
