hi all,

I realise that people are using the editorial list for a dicussion and 
that is great, but that list is not really operative right now. the 
moderator/admin is either not receiving or not answering emails for the 
past... weeks at least, and there are more than 1000 posts held in a 
queue. Most of these posts are spam. In the other hand, some of the 
posts recently sent there have appeared in the archives and in my own 
inbox, so I guess in other people's inboxes too.

We need a moderator for that list urgently, so please can we get a group 
together...

It would be a bit unfair to have a few people getting through all that 
spam just to discard 1066 (as of now) posts one by one, so I propose to 
discard all mesasges at once tomorrow. Once this is done, I would ask 
people who have posted to the list to check if their email is on the 
archives and, if it is not, to post their email again. I think this is a 
better solution than to have a team to discard messages one by one, as 
we are having with the summaries list.

I also propose that if anyone has any objections to this, blocks are 
only effective together with a firm commitment to go to the page and do 
the job ;-)

hola todos,

ya me doy cuenta de que la gente esta usando la lista editorial para una 
conversación y eso esta genial, pero esa lista no esta operativa ahora 
mismo. El moderador/administrador de la lista no esta recibiendo emails 
desde las ultimas... semanas al menos, y hay mas de 1000 mensajes 
esperando en la cola para ser moderados. La mayoría son spam. Por otra 
parte, algunos de los emails recientemente enviados han aparecido en los 
archivos y en mi propia bandeja de entrada, así que imagino que en las 
bandejas de entrada de otra gente también.

Necesitamos moderadores para esa lista urgentemente, así que podriamos 
por favor conseguir un grupo para ello...


Seria injusto que una poca gente tuviese que ir uno por uno descartando 
1066 (son los que hay ahora mismo) mensajes, así que propongo borrarlos 
todos a una, mañana. Una vez que esto esta hecho, pedirla a la gente que 
ha enviado algo a la lista, mirar a ver si su email esta en los archivos 
y, si no esta, que lo envien de nuevo. Creo que esta es una solución 
mejor que el juntar un equipo que vaya por los emails uno a uno, como 
estamos haciendo con la lista summaries, resúmenes.

También propongo que si alguien tiene alguna objeción, que las 
objeciones sean solo efectivas si van acompañadas con el firme 
compromiso de ir a la pagina de administración y hacer el trabajo;-)
