hi,
i very much support the idea of using gloabal funds since we, as tigger=20
wrote before, simply don't have =80 600. also as much as i support the=20
ambazonian cause i don't really see why other imc's shouldn't take part in=
=20
supporting them?
i'm sorrry about not being able to help more but we are facing some serious=
=20
problems ourselves at the moment and i'm afraid we just don't have the=20
capacities right now to have a major role in supporting imc ambazonia.
in case people want to start a funding process about this i think it would=
=20
be important to incude people from ambazonia more. so far we've only been=20
on touch with valentine who (and this is a reply to evans idea) wrote in=20
his first email to imc germany on this subject that - since many people in=
=20
africa don't have web access - they'll focus more on print/radio. they=20
might have different needs than a camera and/or a laptop?
personally - but this is an idea that will need more process evolution on=20
this list i guess - i'd prefer to have the southern and eastern imc's=20
themselves asking for what they need which of course would imply that they=
=20
know how the process works, that the money is there and that we think this=
=20
is exactly what it should be spent for. something like another welcoming=20
message to new imc's and the already existing ones which explains that=20
there is money which can be asked for and how it is distributed so that it=
=20
will be asked for where it's most needed. including a very explicit=20
invitation to use this opportunity, not to be shy and to ask questions.=20
(this is meant not as a criticizm to evans idea which i think is a good one=
=20
but rather as an amendment).
I have to admit that since i'm not regular liaison to this list i didn't=20
follow all the recent process details. and i have a LOT of respect for=20
everyone who did.. so if this idea came too early or something like this=20
already exists i'm sorry about that.
