[Imc-finance] agreed: funding request from IMC argentina

The joburg collective has agreed to the request from IMC-argentina. 
Strong support also came from Durban and Cape Town IMC activists.

IMC South Africa activists received several copies of the "Que se 
vayan todos" newspapers recently, which were distributed widely in 
the townships around Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg. There is a 
strong feeling here that the struggle fought by the piqueteros and 
neighbourhoods assemblies in Argentina is, in many ways, very close 
to the struggle for housing, water, electricity and other basic 
services we are fighting for in (post-)apartheid South Africa. To be 
able to read someone's diary of the argentinian struggle was an 
incredible source of motivation for us.

The visit in Argentina of IMC & Anti-Eviction Campaign activist Max 
Ntanyana, invited by some piqueteros during the Argentina Social 
Forum, initiated a direct, south-south relationship between Argentina 
and South Africa. Since, many solidarity messages have been sent from 
both sides.

We got reports from international IMC activists who visited South 
Africa during WSSD, about the incredibly difficult conditions under 
which Argentina IMC is operating. We acknowledged the courage of 
sebastian and them, leaving home to reach the unemployed workers 
occupying plants in Neuquen.
