hi all,

i know that few people have been maintaining finance summaries, but i
needed to add some finance docs, and since we should be moving all
documentation from old wiki at kropkotin to docs.indymedia.org i created
and imc-finance page there:

* documenting debates *

   i collected some posts that i saw regarding the Ford Funds debate.
   please don't take this as a representation i.e. if you think that
   something is missing, just add it there.

   my motive is to collect debates, so that in the long run it is possible
   to look back and see where we stood with certain issue. and i think it
   helps to make the whole debate comprehensible.

   in terms of sheri's idea of best practice, i believe this practice, of  
   documenting debates, is worth pursuing. we can improve the ways of
   doing it as we go along, this is only a modest start (for example, if i
   had time, i could have quoted people's views and put them together to
   make a more coherent debate then just a collection of archived emails).

one thing that's missing is the link to the original proposal for Ford
Funding. (*  original proposal). if there's a proposal online, someone can
link to it, to give a better perspective to the whole thing.

i put the imc-argentine letter on a single page with links to
translations. having it in twiki fixed the lack of line wrapping in the
mail archive, and made it more readable.
